Lights On! is a critical program in communities across America. We bring together people of all walks of life to make a difference together. But we can’t do it without you.
Whether it’s a couple dollars or a few hundred, every donation to Lights On! is an investment in the health of our communities. Give today and you will help keep the roads safe, assist in rebuilding community trust, and ensure a ticket does not derail a family. Won’t you join us?
Processing fee: is 2.9% + $.30 of your total donation. You will have the option to pay this processing fee or deduct it from your total donation amount. The only way to avoid the processing fee is to send a check – which we accept!
Give Butter Tip: Give Butter is the tool we use to collect online donations. They will automatically add a percentage of your donation as a tip. Give Butter gets 100% of these funds and we recommend you change this amount to $0. To remove the Give Butter tip

In June 2026, we made the difficult decision to close the Lights On! Program in Minnesota and across the country. If you are an auto center or law enforcement partner, you should have already received communication about the closure and any steps needed to close out your account. We are currently in the process of notifying all other program partners and stakeholders.
If you have any questions about the closure, please contact the Lights On! team at LOP@microgrants.net.
